Coloring and Other Random Thoughts

Here's Anna's coloring after dinner. I'm loving this coloring kick of hers. It gives me plenty of time to clean up and wash dishes without someone tugging on my pants.

I haven't been very good about blogging lately and I was thinking about what to blog about and how often. Here's why I blog about Anna:

This is her Blurb blog book I made for her first birthday. (The picture is terrible because the screen on our camera broke.  Which is annoying because it's not even two years old.  So now I have to use the viewfinder [horror] plus I can't turn the flash off.)

I don't journal or scrapbook. I'm lucky if I put photos in a regular album, so this blog is my record of Anna's early years.  And man they're going by fast.  Here's my place to record the things I don't want to forget.  Like the fact that Anna can sing the whole ABCs and does a pretty good version of twinkle twinkle. and bah bah black sheep.

Funny Anna story of the day.  Earlier when I was washing dishes I gave Anna a box of cereal to snack on.  It's not a good habit, but she loves to eat right out of the bag.  I told her, "just a few more bites, and I'm going to put the cereal away."  Then I went back to washing dishes.  A few minutes later I wondered where she went.  I walked down the hall and found Anna crouching in the corner behind her rocker in her bedroom pigging out on cereal.  I guess she thought "out of sight, out of mind" and the funny thing is she was right, it was a couple minutes before I realized she disappeared.

I've seen these books made for different occasions. Great idea. Love checking in on Anna's antics.

I can't believe she's almost 2 and already knows the alphabet. Big credit to both you guys and the time you spend with her.

That is so funny about her sneaking the cereal.

I totally need to check out this book thing.

Emily,

The blog blurb book is such a great idea! How do you do this? I'm not good at keeping up with babybooks, scrapbooks, etc, this looks much easier, even though I deleted my blog. :( I could restart... Hope you all are well! She is getting so big!
