Spring 09

I seem to just post like once a season these days. There's been lot's going on.

Here's Anna modeling the Open House sign. We put our house on the market, and after many, many showings and open houses it sold.

As long as all goes well, this will be our new house. We're very excited, it's a nice house in a nice neighborhood really close to school and not too far from work. So now onto packing. We don't have an official close date, but we're trying to keep the process manageable by packing one box a day each.

And I haven't posted any good Anna pics in a while. The girl is definitely two these days. She whines a lot. She says no a lot. She is very stubborn.

She's also very funny and very energetic. She's always up for anything. She got her second haircut tonight and she was so funny. She didn't speak or move the whole time. She just stared at herself in the mirror.

A's favorites these days - fruit snacks, dip (pretzels and cheese snacks) swinging (I pass three playgrounds on the way home and hear a constant whining of "swinggg"), Knuffle Bunny Too, Corduroy Bear (not my favorite), Sesame Street, B-I-N-G-O, and sand boxes. Oh and fidgeting. She the only kid in her daycare room that won't site at meal time. She takes a bit, runs around, takes another. It drives me crazy.

Here's Anna trying out my old rocking horse refurbished by grandpa.

Anna's happy place - the playground.

This was during one of those whiney bouts and the chips made her happy. I didn't let her eat the whole bag though.

And now I'm hoping the next few months on Anna's summer include some pottying!

Congrats on selling the house! The new house looks great. And Anna looks adorable, as always. Hope all goes well with the closing.

I'm thinking she's a typical 2-year old as you summarized the actions of Carley to a "T"! I was thinking Carley was the only toddler that won't sit anymore for meals. Frustrating, isn't it?

I call it my diet - I miss dinner because I'm too busy chasing her around with bites of food!

Good luck packing...and congrats on the new house!
